CP4 Dhugal

I went to St. George island yesterday with Hamad, my two roommates and a dog we are taking care of. We were going to try and meet up with everyone first at CIES but got off to a late start, so it was just us all day.

We set off in my roommates Oldsmobile and had a very enjoyable drive to St. George. We shared some American music with Hamad and observed the changing surroundings that one finds when leaving Tallahassee. Regarding music, I had suggested to Hamad a few days earlier that he find some American bands to listen to-or that I would recommend some-that would help his listening skills (I think I'll recommend Cake, they are very intelligible).

Our time at St. George was fairly typical of four bros broing out on the beach; we tossed the pigskin (I had to show Hamad the correct way to throw the ball), played some volleyball and admired the scenery. We ate at a nearby pizza joint and talked about our families. It was good to have my roommates with us to help bolster the conversation. They were naturally curious about his background and he was very open with them.

Overall a very pleasant day for all involved.
