Aaron CP7

On Tuesday I met with Abdullah at Atomic coffee on Tennessee. When we arrived we talked about our favorite kinds of coffee. I told him I really like Turkish coffee, but I have yet to find a cafe that serves it. When ordering Abdullah told me he would pay for me, which I thought was really nice of him to do. I have noticed the last few session we have become friends rather that just tutoring/conversation partners. After we got our coffee we went to sit outside and started our conversation.  He seems to like conversing about theology and religion, which is something I love to talk about. He asked me if Jews go to Church like Christians and I told him we go to something similar, but it's called Synagogue. He had some difficulty pronouncing it at first, but eventually got it. I told him what goes on during a service and that Shabat or sabbath for us starts Friday night and goes to Saturday night. I told him religious Jews do not drive, work or handle money on the Sabbath. I invited him to attend with me and he seemed very interested. I would probably have to go myself first, because I have not attended services in Tallahassee. When conversing he mentioned the word Masjid, and asked if I knew what it was. I told him it meant a small community mosque. I then told him I wanted to go to the Jumma'a(larger mosque), and he was excited I knew these words.  We also talked a little about pork. I was interested to know if he had ever tried it and he had not. I told him I have always not really been fond of it ether, but still ate it frequently at home because my father loves it.
